CITB Site Management Safety Training 5 days
(1 day a week or 5 consecutive days)
Industry recognised course for Project Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors as well as owner managers of small companies. The course aims to give an understanding of delegates’ responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health and welfare, current health and safety legislation including risk assessment. Certificated  
CITB Site Management Safety Refresher 2 days Refresher for those who have attended the 5 day course and who wish to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation. Covers recent changes to regulations, approved codes of practice and working practices  
CSCS Health and Safety Awareness 1 day For construction operatives requiring a general overview of health and safety issues and how they affect activities on site. Can be used as preparation training for the health and safety test for CSCS cards or as refresher training.  
Working at heights 1 day For those who work at heights. The course aims to provide an appreciation of safety legislation covering safe working at heights and including examination of good working practice.  
Confined Space Awareness 1 day For anyone whose job involves entry into confined spaces. The course is designed to provide theoretical and practical training for any person who may have to work in a confined space that is hazardous-gas free at the time of entry.  
Risk Assessments and Method Statements 0.5 day For anyone who carries out risk assessments and write method statements. The course is designed to provide delegates with the skills and knowledge to carry out risk assessments and method statements and basic health and safety procedures.  
Asbestos Awareness 0.5 day For operative who may come in contact with asbestos products  
Scaffold Inspection 1 day For supervisors who have to inspect and sign off scaffolding  

Abrasive Wheels/

Hilti Gun/Manual Handling

1 day A day designed to provide: training in the safe mounting of abrasive wheels and discs on portable machines:  The safe use and loading on cartridge powered tools and instruction in the safe and correct kinetic lifting techniques.  
CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training 2 day An introduction to site safety management and supervision for those who have had no previous supervisory training.  
How to Deliver Toolbox Talks 1 day For those who have to prepare and deliver toolbox talks. A day of practice and workshops in delivering instructions, training and advice  
Work Based Recording 3 hours Introducing the potential work based recorder into the correct techniques of recording NVQ evidence for candidates.  
Chapter 8 2 days The chapter 8 course is based upon the candidate’s level of experience. The basic course delivers basic understanding and knowledge in signing, lighting and guarding. The course provides training and assessment.  
First Aid – Appointed Person 1 day The course gives the trainees the skills and knowledge to be able to administer emergency first aid, to control and maintain first aid facilities on site in accordance with the Regulations and Approved Code of Practice.  
First Aid – First Aider 4 days A first aider is someone who has undergone a training course in administering first aid at work and holds a current first aid at work certificate.
