The Group exists to give members access to training which meets their
needs, is local and is affordable.
The Group will:
support
members in the preparation
of company training and development plans to identify their needs
individually and collectively
provide and maintain
a local programme of training to meet identified needs
provide a forum for
discussion on local training issues and for the promotion of best
practice
increase its
membership so as to build on its local credibility and recognition
in training for construction
facilitate links
through Advisory Committees and Curriculum bodies with
CITB-ConstructionSkills, local colleges and other training
providers as well as Careers organisations
