TRAINING STOP PRESS JANUARY 2009
|
|
Think Site Safety - Do you need any of these? |
|
The Site Management Safety
Training Scheme (SMSTS) (five days) |
|
This course is intended for
project managers, site managers and supervisors as well as
proprietors of small to medium sized companies.
Client-based personnel would also benefit from attending
the course. Possession of this qualification is listed in
the Approved Code of Practice for the Construction (Design
and Management) (CDM) Regulations as a demonstration of
competence in the role of site manager. |
|
The Site Supervisors’
Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) (two days) |
|
The course is designed
for first line managers, foremen, gangers, team leaders
and supervisors: those who have, or are about to acquire,
supervisory responsibilities and need to understand their
legal duties to better contribute to the instruction,
supervision and monitoring of tasks and activities to
ensure safety on site. |
|
The Site Management
Safety Training Scheme Refresher Course (two days) |
|
Have you checked the end
date for your 5 day SMSTS certificate?
The certificate
has to be renewed every 5 years by attending the SMSTS
refresher course. We can run one in Exeter but
ConstructionSkills say we need a minimum of 6 candidates.
I have one. |
|
Let me know if
you are interested in any of the above and I will set it
up.
Remember, when
the Group sponsors one of these health and safety courses,
the cost to will not exceed what you will get back in
grant. The Group pays the balance. |
