Membership

The Group is managed by a Committee of members elected by the membership at our Annual General Meeting which is normally held in March. The Committee meets at regular intervals throughout the year and currently comprises:

Members Charter

To become a member or to remain in membership a Company undertakes to:

To use the services of DCT to meet their training requirements when suitable opportunities exist and be active in the year ahead with training.

Recruit young and/or mature people onto their workforce, when the business opportunity exists, to provide Apprenticeships or Trainee positions and ensure that they have the necessary opportunities to develop and build their skills with adequate training.

Promote and use of Go Construct website

Access CITB Grants, Skills & Training Fund Products and Services.

Whenever possible take an active part in Career & Apprenticeship events that promote working in the Construction industry. This includes working with schools and colleges, providing Work Experience opportunities, Award presentations etc, particularly when led by DCT.

Attend at least two Members Forums / Annual General Meetings arranged by DCT in each year.

Meet the requirements of policies established by the Executive Committee, particularly in relation to payment terms and course cancellation charges

Any company that fails to reasonably meet the above undertakings accepts that the Executive Committee has a duty to review their ongoing membership. This could lead to termination of membership, unless a programme to resolve the situation can be agreed.

Devon Construction Training Ltd (DCT) needs to keep information about member companies and their employees in order to meet their training needs. Information will also be shared with the CITB and Training Providers. See the membership form for details.
